Activities

Hungary has participated in the ENRIN programme since 1993, GRID-Budapest is operational since 24 April 1997, its implementation has been financed by the Swiss and the Norwegian Governments.

GRID-Budapest has taken an active role in UNEP's and other international environmental information activities, such as participating in the ENRIN focal point meeting in Warsaw in 1995, in the Internet Seminar in Arendal and hosting the SoE on Internet workshop in Budapest in 1998.

The SoE Hungary on the Internet was launched in 1997, GRID Budapest hosted the the Internet Seminar in Budapest in 1998.
