CORINE Biotopes Project in Latvia

CORINE Biotopes project (http://www.daba.lu.lv/LDF/CORINE/Corine.html) was carried out in 1994-1997. Biotopes inventory aims at identifying the sites of major importance for nature conservation on the European level (Biotopes site). The consistent and comparable information on these sites is compiled and recorded into the Biotopes sites database.
