Bulgaria 2003
The Environment Report summarises the information for the state of the environment of Republic of Bulgaria therefore it's differs from the previous edition of "Green Book". The current report follows the PSIR framework (Pressure - State - Impact - Response). It contains processed information from many different sources including the "State of the Environment Report - 2001", Indicator report, National Strategy for the Environment and Action Plan 2000 - 2006", "Green Gold of Bulagria" and e.g.
The report includes the following elements:
- prioritised environmental issues
- statistics, maps, graphics and tables
- 'good practices' Establishment of a Joint System for Ambient Air Quality Control and Management in Bulgarian and Romanian Border Towns along the Lower Danube and Actions taken within the MoEW system for establishment of the state of theenvironment during the military conflict in Kosovo
- description of the set of indicators.
Within “A Regional Environmental Information Portal for SEE” 1.15 project inside ReREP a subproject was performed with the technical assistance of UNEP/GRID-ARENDAL.
