The average yearly concentrations of dust, sulfur dioxide and nitrogen dioxide in Batumi slightly exceeded norms. Only the maximal dust concentration exceeded MPL (1.2 times). In recent years the concentration of nitrogen dioxide increased substantially in Batumi, while the level of hydrogen sulfide pollution decreased.
