Sphagnum marshes (Spagnmum spp); swamps (Alnus barbata, Rododendron ponticum). Numerous fowl species dwell here. This places are the wintering and resident site for migraory species (Gruiformes, Anseriformes, Charadriiformes). From the birds of prey here are Accipiter nisus, Circus melanoleus. Passeriformes are represented in large amount.
The considerable part of Ispani I is used for economic purposes. Sprouts of Alnus barbata are noted at shoulders, Rubus spp. often appears, Ficus carica occurs as individual trees, Robinia pseudoacacia, Cryptomeria japonica are brought, Smilax exelsa, Peripoca graeca are found, but everything is of fragmentary and degenerated nature. Prunella vulganis, Plantago major, at shoulders - Untica dioica are in abundance, from herbaceous. In these parts Ambrosia antemisiifolia is found in relatively lower degree. Crops, especially Songhum halepenses are surrounded by weeds; Lemna minor, Alisma plantago-aquatica, Hydrocharis monsus nanae and other water plants are widely spread in channels.
Ispani II: in spite of devastation of bordering timber and immediate closeness of urbanised area, the swamp itself is preserved almost in original type. Peat pillows (Sphagnum imbricatum, S.acutifolium, S.papillosum) are expressed best of all precisely here. They represent grassy-spagnhum swamp, where Rhododendron luteum and Rh. ponticum, being Kolkhian elements, promote its existence. Fruit-bearing midget shape ecotypes of Rhamnus imeretina are notable.
Fragments of the devastated forest adjacent to the swamp nevertheless is an important area from the viewpoint of flora. Acer campertre, Carpinus caucasica, Fraxinus excelsior, Lex colchica, Rhamnus imeretina are found here. Specimens of Pterocarya pterocarpa are also found.
