Media Highlights: the Environment in Central Asia

UNEP and GRID-Arendal support efforts of Central Asian and international mass media to put burning environmental issues on the regional and international agenda. Here are some outputs from this on-going work.

One example is the Central Asian environmental media training in Almaty, Kazakhstan, 10-13 November 2002, on the occasion of the 2nd regional festival of environmental journalism.
